2 New PhDs for Dublin Dental University Hospital

On Friday 29th June two new Doctorate Degrees were awarded to Dublin Dental University Hospital staff members. 

Congratulations to Dr Brendan  Grufferty and Dr Atef Hashem who were conferred with their PhD degrees by the Chancellor of the University of Dublin, Dr Mary Robinson.

Dr Brendan Grufferty received a PhD for his thesis entitle ‘Use of a Three-Dimensional Scaffold to Support Bone Cell Growth and Differentiation on Commercially Pure Titanium’.  Dr Atef Hashem thesis was ‘Database establishment and an investigation of quality of life, self-esteem, and self-concept of patients with developmental dental anomalies’
