35th Anniversary BDA/DENTSPLY Students Clinician Prize
The 35th Anniversary British Dental Association/DENTSPLY Students Clinician Prize was held at the Royal Horse Guards Hotel in London on Friday 3rd February.
The Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) was represented by Mr Ahmed Sultan (4th Year Dental Science Student). The title of his poster presentation was “Do the recently marketed bulk fill flowable composites work?” which was supervised by Dr Garry JP Fleming and Dr Adam Dowling from the Materials Science Unit.
Although not successful in winning the main prizes of the evening, the DDUH is proud of Ahmed’s performance and the research on this exciting topic has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Dentistry. A great social evening was enjoyed by the DDUH team as guests of Dentsply, the British Dental Association and the Dental Defense Union.
