Oral Cancer & Inflammation Group
Our group focuses on understanding the progression of oral cancer from a lesion or a dysplastic state to carcinoma in-situ along with identifying possible roles chronic oral inflammation can illicit in this transformation. We are also interested in the systemic effects of periodontal disease and how this can contribute or influence inflammatory conditions through ROS mediated mechanisms.
