National Industrial Action – Wednesday 14th October 2026
National industrial action is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. This is expected to have a significant impact on hospital services with the Hospital regretfully needing to reschedule many planned appointments.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Any appointments cancelled will be rescheduled as quickly as possible.
The Accident and Emergency Service will be operated in the same manner as the out of hours emergency service. Phones will operate from 9am with appointments between 2pm and 5pm on 14th October 2026.
This service is managed by telephoning 01 6127200. You will need to provide a contact number for the dentist on duty to contact you via our answering service.
Please do not present to the Hospital as this service is managed by appointment only.
